Elected as Mayor	--Elected Mayor of Lake Cowichan November 2008 .
Public Service History	- Past President Lake Cowichan Minor Baseball; - Past excecutive member L.C. Minor Hockey; - Past Chair Lake Days committee; - Organizer Appollos Slow Pitch Tournament past 27 years; - Honoured to be Lake Cowichan citizen of the year in 1996.
Community Interest	- Anything that makes Lake Cowichan a better place to be.
Personal history	- Born and raised in Lake Cowichan; - Grew up with 2 brothers and a sister; - Spent many years in Logging industry [often was camp chairman or safety chair]; - Curently enjoy working at North Cowichan as an Icemaker and Parks Employee.
Personal Interests	- Sports [ 33 years with Appollos Hockey Team ], Yankees Baseball; - Travelling with Tracy.
Family	___ - Married in 1977 to Tracy [ I admire how she managed a 30 plus year banking career and raised our children with me away working so much ]; ___- Daughter Jada [ currently taking speach pathology at Capilano College ] - Son Drew [ currently building houses for Triosh Construction ]; - Late parents Ted and Peggy Forrest { both of them gave so much to our Town; - Dad was a former Mayor and Councillor, Mom was a restaurant owner and both were very active as volunteers for sports groups, Legion and Lions Clubs, and many other community events; - Sister Lynn and her family; - Brother Grant; - Brother Mike and his family who live at Lake Cowichan also; - And of course Tracy's family [Jack, Bev, Lynn and family & Todd.
Who I am	- I am a very proud person. I'm proud of my accomplisments in life, I'm extremely proud of my family and friends,and I can't say enough about how proud I am to say I am Mayor of Lake Cowichan, my home.
